I planned my lesiure trip to Deventer. From many days i was looking for a good place to spend my holidays. Finally i came across through Deventer so decided to visit the city. I was also fascinated by the city weekendje Deventer . It is a municipality and city in the Salland region of the Dutch province of Overijssel. Deventer is largely situated on the east bank of the river IJssel, but also has a small part of its territory on the west bank. Firstly when i came here i just noticed all the big hotels in Deventer Netherlands in the city. Deventer has been somewhat popular with the film industry. The city’s trade and industry is still of some importance. The Deventer honey cake (Deventer Koek), produced in Deventer for over 500 years, is still manufactured locally and sold all over the Netherlands. In my citytrip Deventer i also tried the famous honey cake.
Come and explore this beautiful city in all possible ways. Deventer isn’t a particularly well-known destination within Netherlands, but it does receive a few travelers. Sandton Hotel Gilde is a cosy hotel in the city. This Hotel in Deventer is also fully equipped with all the facilities in the city. In Deventer every year people come to see the creative festival of Deventer op Stelten where artists from all over Europe come to show their moves on stilts. I also saw a Deventer hoteles which was located near the historical center in the city. This city also has a glorious history. Many of the buildings erected in those glory days still remain. I really enjoyed my stay in the city and also enjoyed my leisure trip. My hotel en Deventer was also on the perfect location from where almost all the attractions of the city was just few mins away.
The city also celebrates many famous events. I saw events detail in my hotel in Deventer Netherlands . The Dickens Festival in December sees some of the oldest streets and alleys in the city dressed up in the style of the Victorian era, as per Dickens’ writings. The latter attracted 135,000 visitors in 2004 and 2006. If you wanted to enjoy in real terms then book a good week-end Deventer in the city and stay atleast for 2-3 days. In the first week-end of July, the city centre is the scene of the spectacular open air festival “Deventer op stelten” (Deventer on Stilts). Actors and artists give free performances in the streets and on the Brink square. All actors must use stilts during their acts. We were here in the month of july and august only. Sandton IJsselhotel is a luxurious hotel with unique designs. It is uniquely located on the west side of the IJssel River with a view of Deventer.
There are many attractions in the city. My Deventer hotel was located near the main attraction area. The Waag (Weighing-house) on the edge of the Brink square, built in 1550 and restored in 2003. The Deventer City Museum is housed inside the Waag. The Museum’s collections include industrial and trading history, paintings by Gerard Terborch and Han van Meegeren, silver objects, and prehistoric findings). Thea Beckman’s novel Het wonder van Frieswijck (”The Frieswijck Miracle”) features the Waag. On the outer wall of the Waag hangs a kettle that is over 500 years old, said to have been used for a public execution in the late Middle Ages; a man who had produced counterfeit coins was cooked to death in it. Here i also enjoyed the best food in the my Istanbul hotels restaurant. The Lebuïnuskerk (St. Lebuin’s Church) in Gothic style, with remarkable ceiling paintings and a beautiful organ. Its tower can be climbed in summer.
I also noticed that tourists here leave their Hotels in Noordwijk early in morning so that they can enjoy whole day in the city. Some other attractions of the city. The Brink (market square) with houses, shops, and cafes dating from 1575-1900. The market square is also the center of Deventer nightlife. Alongside this square there is the Bussink “Koekhuisje”, where you can buy the famous Deventer Koek (honey-cake). Markets take place every Friday (including a very big one on Good Friday, following a medieval tradition) and Saturday. The Speelgoedmuseum (Toy Museum) behind the Waag, housed in one of the most picturesque old houses of the city. After visiting to all the museums in the city i relaxed in my Attractions in Bergen aan zee room. Hotel Royal is situated in the heart of the city. This hotel is fully equipped with all the latest facilities.
After enjoying in Deventer i moved on to Maastricht. As i wanted to enjoy all the nearby places around , i dont want to miss any opportunity to see this beautiful city and hence i started exploring the every single part of city. It is a city and municipality in the southern part of the Dutch province of Limburg, of which it is the capital. Here i stayed in the best hotel specials Maastricht of the city. The city is situated on both sides of the Meuse river in the south-eastern part of the Netherlands, on the Belgian border and near the German border. My Maastricht hotels was near the main attractions of the city. Nowadays Maastricht is widely known as a centre of tradition, history and culture and popular with tourists for shopping and recreation. It is also the location for various establishments. Here i decided to stay in the hôtel à Maastricht near the airport and i chose a nice hotel near hotel. It has a more southern, relaxed atmosphere than other parts of the Netherlands and attracts many international tourists not only for its rich history but also for its beauty. If you would like to go out and have fun at night, Maastricht has a lot to offer.
From Maastricht i left for Amsterdam. It is an unusual city in that it has all the advantages of a big city – culture, history, food, entertainment, good transport, Amsterdam Hotels – with relatively few of the disadvantages: it is physically small, beautiful, relatively quiet, and largely thanks to the canals, has relatively little traffic.weekend Amsterdam are beautifully located in the city. Amsterdam is a safe city, and there is nothing to fear from walking in any part of the city. Even in the red-light district around the Oude Kerk, there are always lots of tourists wandering around. As in any large city you should beware of pick pockets. Although there are few risks but lways be aware while leaving your citytrip Amsterdam . Don’t try to photograph the women in the red-light district though, since it might be risky.
After Amsterdam i visited to Eindhoven . It is a municipality and a city located in the province of Noord-Brabant in the south of the Netherlands. Eindhoven Hotel in this city are perfectly located. Eindhoven is also known as the City of Light, due to the Company Philips originating there and because of the several projects involving lighting up buildings of the city. I stayed in one of the best hoteles Eindhoven in the city. Eindhoven has a lively cultural scene. For going out, there are numerous bars on the Market square, Stratumseind (Stratum’s End), Dommelstraat, Wilhelmina square and throughout the rest of the city. My hôtels Eindhoven was in the main city center. As the largest city in the south of the Netherlands, Eindhoven offers a wide spectrum of facilities in the areas of shopping, nightlife and performing arts.
